Our firm has been engaged by a confidential not-for-profit association to solicit responses from qualified D.C. area firms capable of providing comprehensive marketing and communications services. This client has both national and international exposure and is a well-established and respected leader in its field with decades of success.
Services Description
The client anticipates the selected firm will provide the following services:
Guide the execution of creative marketing and communication campaigns, including the promotion of membership, training, annual exposition and several specialty events
Help set priorities and refine the marketing and communications strategies
Work with the client's various departments on the deployment of tactics to most effectively implement their campaigns
Support the client's image and brand awareness
Conduct relevant marketing research and analysis
Design marketing and communications collateral
The selected firm will guide and execute communication, PR and advertising for the client utilizing a variety of communications deployment tools which will include:
Websites, including its content management interface
Social media
Mass media communications and publicity
Direct marketing to clients and potential clients
Print and collateral materials including newsletters, brochures, advertisements, and other print communications
Other developing and commonly deployed media
The client's budget for these contracted services is approximately $250,000 annually.
Vendor Background
Vendors wishing to reply to the request of proposal may respond by submitting information about the company's background and core business and identify the following: the size of the company in terms of staff and general financial background, and locations of headquarters and branch offices. Vendors are also asked to present a sampling of current clients, to identify their experience in preparing comprehensive and strategic marketing and communications programs and campaigns, and size of the current clients. Firms having served association or not-for-profit clients are preferred. Respondents are asked to submit typical charges for hourly rates or project rates to perform such services along with an explanation of how they manage the estimation and billing processes to minimize cost overruns. Please also identify a main contact person for future communications.
