Marketing Consultant for Anusara School of Hatha Yoga
Overview
The Anusara School of Hatha Yoga, which was formed in 2013, has recently transitioned from a privately-held S-Corp to an international nonprofit organization with five global regions. The School has enormous growth potential. We are looking for a marketing consultant to work with the School for a six-month period to harness our untapped marketing potential.
Project Goals
We have several goals in mind for this project:
"Put a face" on ASHY within the international yoga community
Promote ASHY's benefits and services more effectively to Anusara-licensed teachers
Deepen the connection between the organization's leadership (staff and Board) with its stakeholders, primarily students, teachers, and Subject Matter Specialists;
Coordinate ASHY's branding efforts, including its website, email communications and social media presence, including developing templates for use by various committees and teams.
Project Scope
The consultant/firm selected for this project will have two primary functions:
Advise the Board of Directors' newly-formed Marketing Committee and ASHY's Operations Team on the School's internal (inside ASHY) and external (outside ASHY) marketing strategies to ensure a uniform look and message and a coordinated approach across ASHY's three departments (Professional Development, Community Development and Outreach, and Administration);
Provide support to the Board's Marketing Committee and relevant Operations Team members in the identification, prioritization, development and implementation of key internal and external marketing strategies.
ASHY plans to retain its current logo, vision statement, mission statement, and core values. Fundraising for a new website platform is a high priority for 2017. If sufficient funds are available, this project scope may be expanded to include website upgrades.
