Marketing Consultant
This project includes the development of a highly creative marketing strategy about higher education and Council members. The selected firm will work with the Council leadership and designated officers from the Public Relations and Marketing Council, which is comprised of professionals from the
member institutions.
The work will include: 1) understand how students navigate the choices they make in finding the right university or academic program; 2) develop effective marketing strategies in the
current economy; 3) coalesce compelling arguments for why higher education is essential (if you go to
college, this is what your life will look like versus your life if you do not go to college); 4) understand and
define the qualities and uniqueness of SOCHE member colleges and universities; 5) incorporate relevant
territorial assets that make the region an attractive place to go to college; and 6) develop a strategy that
can be used by the Council and each participating member.
