The purpose of the Request for Proposal (RFP) call is to contract a real estate
professional who has the requisite experience, understands the political
sensitivities in the community and is effective at responding to Councils needs
regarding these sensitivities.
The main objective is to create a developer attraction strategy for the sale of
municipally owned property for the purpose of building a hotel adjacent to the Conference Centre. The successful proponent will act effectively at attracting and securing a
well funded, well qualified developer to commence the design and construction of
a full service hotel.
