Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations Services for the Texas Traffic Safety Program
This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide marketing, advertising and
public relation services for TxDOTs Texas Traffic Safety Program, Traffic Operations Division
Traffic Safety Section (TRF-TS). The marketing, advertising and public relation services shall
assist TxDOT in meeting the objectives of the Texas Traffic Safety Program by:
1.1. Increasing public knowledge, perception, and understanding of traffic safety issues
including, but not limited to, excessive speed, impaired driving, safety belt use, child
passenger safety, aggressive drivers, distracted drivers, pedestrian and bicycle safety, and
to promote desirable patterns of behavior in the highway traffic and transportation system
environment overall.
1.2. Emphasizing the societal and economic impact to taxpayers of transportation crashes,
injuries, and fatalities.
