Market Survey for Environmental Control Unit (ECU)

Defense Logistics Agency intends to obtain Environmental Control Units (ECU) used in the Standardized Integrated Command Post System. The proposed acquisition effort will be for a single procurement. For past procurements, this item was supplied by HDT Expeditionary Systems, Inc. This survey is published in compliance with FAR Part 10, (Market Research) The purpose of this survey is to canvass the industry for any possible sources for the ECU identified below. This request for information does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred in responding or in any subsequent exchange of information.

The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The US Government is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals.



The Government will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense.



The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from industry, including small businesses, and those socio-economically categorized under small business.


Those interested manufacturing facility must provide either: information/data/documentation which shows that they have, in fact previously manufactured the EXACT SAME 1008071 ECU as described in the above table on a prior US Government contract. Alternately, provide documentation, such as a letter from HDT Expeditionary Systems, Inc., CAGE # 7JYX1, confirming that they are an authorized manufacturing facility of the above mentioned item. All proprietary and restricted information shall be clearly marked. The US Government has no manufacturing related technical data available for this item.
