The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) located in Atlantic City, NJ, has a requirement for the acquisition of fifteen (15) Anritsu Vector Network Analyzers, specifically part number MS2034B-FAA.

In accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1, the FAA is conducting a market survey to determine the capabilities of the market and the eligibility of small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSB) or socially and economically disadvantaged businesses certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) program.

The acquisition strategy for the procurement has not been determined at this time. The results of this market survey will be used as a determining factor in deciding on the level of competition.

Please note: Based on the FAAbs AMS policy at 3.2.1.2.3, the use of agency wide contracts must be used to the maximum extent possible and the responses to this announcement will be used as a determining factor regarding whether the use of an existing agency contract vehicle is appropriate.

(b) The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals;
(c) The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey; and
(d) Any costs associated with the market survey submittal are solely at the interested vendorbs expense.
