The Maritime Exchange (MEX) for the Delaware River and Bay, acting as Fiduciary Agent (FA) for the Area
Maritime Security Committee (AMSC) of Sector Delaware Bay, is seeking a firm or individual with
experience and expertise with federal grants to monitor the implementation of sub-grants under the FY07 Supplemental Port Security Grant Program. Similar work is expected for the FY08 and FY09 programs.
The successful candidate or contractor will be responsible for assisting the Maritime Exchange to verify the implementation of the projects for which the sub-grants have been awarded and to ensure compliance with all applicable federal guidance regarding the implementation and monitoring of grants and responsible use of grants monies.
The Maritime Exchanges first preference is to hire an individual who will join the MEX staff, however, we understand an external organization or firm may have the best resources for handling the diverse scope and nature of the work requested. Thus, the Exchange will consider either a potential employee or an organization/firm to perform the work under contract.
Individuals desiring to apply for the position should consult the Job Notice posted to the Maritime Exchange web site:

Firms desiring to work under contract should review the Request for Proposals on the same site: http://www.maritimedelriv.com/Port_Security/AMSC/Files/Monitoring%20RFP%203-13-09.pdf
