This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Proposal SPE4A514R0631 is being issued on 2/20/14 with a closing date of 02/21/14. This item is currently sole source to General Electric Co. (cage 07482), NSN 2995-01-522-9950, PR 0050534558, Manifold, Fluid, Aircraft, Unrestricted, Part Number - 2172M32P01. This solicitation is for a total quantity of 26 each. All pieces are to be delivered in 110 DARO or best possible delivery. The solicitation terms include FOB: Origin and Inspection/Acceptance: Origin. Configuration Control and Export Control apply. This is an Air Force Designated Critical Safety Item (CSI). Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS) will apply. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
