Maryland is in the process of transitioning to the Common Core State Standards over the four-year life of the RTTT grant. The existing OIT can be viewed online. The expanded OIT will facilitate the transition to the new State Common Core Curriculum (CCC) by providing teachers, administrators, students, and parents with curriculum and assessment information and resources that are aligned with the new curriculum for use at the local level. The CMS will provide the platform for storage and access to the OIT information and resources. New curriculum information and resources requires processes and personnel to aggregate, align, evaluate, upload, and update information and resources.
