Management Bureau Worldwide Summit & Global Backstop Workshop
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number SOL-OAA-15-000013 is issued as Request for Proposal (RFP). This RFP will result in the award of a Fixed Price contract for lodging, meeting rooms, catering, and audio visual equipment for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) 2015 Management Bureau and Backstop Conference. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-77, effective November 13, 2014 and those outlined in the offerors current GSA schedule. The USAID is located at 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20523. The period of performance will be for 6 days as determined by the dates of award.
The facility shall be compliant with the requirements of the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990 (Pub. L. No. 101-391, September 25, 1990, as amended by Pub. L. No. 105-85, November 18, 1997), and is listed on the U.S. Fire Administration Hotel and Motel National Master List found at http://www.usfa.fema.gov/hotel/search.cfm. ; In addition, the offerors facility must be compliant with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (Public Law 101-336) (42 U.S.C. 12010 et. seq.)
USAID intends to procure conference facilities to conduct a Management Bureau Worldwide Summit and a Global Backstop Workshop to accommodate 335 USAID field and Washington staff, tentatively scheduled for one of the dates indicated below in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area.
January 26 through 30, 2015 (Lodging required from January 25 through 30)
February 2 through 6, 2015 (Lodging required from February 1 through 6)
February 23 through 27, 2015 (Lodging required from February 22 through 27)
March 2 through 6, 2015 (Lodging required from March 1 through 6)
