Maintenance of the CRxFlex Computed Radiography Scanner
The United States Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Yuma Proving Ground (MICC-YPG), U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona, intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract on a sole source basis with GE Inspection Technologies, LP, 201 Beltway Green Blvd, Pasadena, TX, 77503-1300. The U.S. Army Proving Ground has a requirement for Maintenance of the Computed Radiography Scanner (CRXFLEX). The existing equipment, manufactured by GE Sensing & Inspection, requires a yearly maintenance contract to service the CRxFlex Computed Radiography Scanner. The contract will provide biannual preventative maintenance inspections (PMI) and technical support. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12 and 13.
The North American Classification Systems code 811219 with a size standard of $20.5M was selected for the subject acquisition, as it relates to this item. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firm's technical capability to meet these requirements by 28 August 2019 12:00 PM Mountain Standard Time (MST).
