Description of the service: This is a service to perform semi-annual maintenance, test, inspections, repairs and certifications of all suppression, sprinkler systems and hydrants in Camp Darby, Depot & ASA Areas, USAG Italy DMC.
Location of the work: The service shall be performed in all buildings protected by extinguishing systems placed in Camp Darby and Depot Areas and Ammunition Storage Area (ASA).
Performance Period: The performance period will be as follows:
Base Year: 29 September 2018 - 28 September 2019
Option Year One: 29 September 2019 - 28 September 2020
Option Year Two: 29 September 2020 - 28 September 2021
Method of Contracting: This will be a Request for Quotation (RFQ) resulting in a Hybrid Firm Fixed Price and Time and Materials type contract.
Issuance of solicitation: 09 July 2018
Response date: 10 August 2018, 12:00 PM "noon" (Local time, Rome, Italy) (Due-in date for the submittal of quotation)
Site visit: A site visit will be held on 23 July 2018, 10:00 hrs. The meeting point will be at Gate #4 (Camp Darby Gate), Via Vecchia Livornese, San Piero a Grado (Pisa), Italy.
How to participate:
In order to participate to the site all interested parties are invited to indicate their interest by submitting an e-mail not later than Close of Business (COB) 21 June 2018 to the following e-mail address: Sonia.zanobini2.ln@mail.mil
Please indicate in your e-mail the Solicitation Number/Title: "W912PF18Q0025 Maintenance and repair of sprinkler and suppression systems"; the name of the company; the address; the phone number; the fax number; the e-mail address and the name of person(s) (maximum two) who will be present at the site visit. A legible copy of the identification document(s) has to be provided. If the person(s) has\/have entry pass (es), a copy of the pass/passes has/have to be provided. Only the person(s) who has/have provided the personal data would be allowed to attend the site visit. The Guards will check the identification card at the gate. The offeror(s) not present on the list will be denied the entrance to the base. Not indicating interest as described above does not preclude the offeror from participating in this requirement. Note: Interested Parties are NOT required to attend the organized site visit in order to submit an offer.
