Maintenance and Software Support Services for DANA Software
This is a notice of intent that the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) intends to award a sole-source contract to Anthrotronix, Inc., 8737 Colesville Rd Ste L203, Silver Spring, MD 20910 for software maintenance and upgrades with existing Defense Automated Neurobehavioral Assessment (DANA) software.
Anthrotronix is the developer and sole-source provider of DANA software in both the commercial and government marketplace. No other company is authorized to provide DANA software maintenance, to include updates/upgrades.
This notice is not a request for offers. The anticipated date of award is 7 September 2018. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.501(a), Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items Sole-Source Acquisitions. In accordance with FAR 13.501(a), these services are determined to be peculiar to one company and not available from any other sources.
All responses from responsible sources will be considered. Any such responses must be in writing and include technical and pricing information. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses are due no later than 4 August 2018 at 4:00 PM EST. Only electronic submissions will be accepted.
