Annual Comprehensive Maintenance Services for Cage-Washer Machine
This is a new Solicitation for commercial items and NOT an amendment to a previous solicitation. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation in its entirety; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotes (RFQ) under solicitation number VA262-15-Q-0475. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-91 effective September 30, 2016, respectively.
The solicitation is in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13, Acquisition of Commercial Items, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Veteran Affairs Acquisition Regulations as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This is an unrestricted solicitation; the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 811219, and size standard is $20.5 million.
The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Integrated Services Network (VISN) 22, headquartered in Long Beach, California is seeking vendors that can provide comprehensive maintenance services for a Government owned cage-washer machine located at VA Long Beach Healthcare System, 5901 E. 7th St, Long Beach, CA 90822. The Contractor shall adhere to all federal and state laws and regulations in effect during the term of the contract. The Government intends to award a single award firm-fixed-price contract. The order shall begin on the date of award.

Offers to this solicitation shall be e-mailed not later than 08:00 a.m. PST on Thursday May 4, 2017 to the attention of Edgar Alvizar at edgar.alvizar@va.gov with Solicitation Offer Comprehensive Maintenance for Basil 4700 Cage-Washer on the subject line. Files should be sent in PDF format and no larger than 10MB or they will be automatically rejected by the server. Vendor shall expect a confirmation e-mail indicating offer was successfully received by the Government. The Government is not responsible for rejected e-mails that exceed the e-mail capacity. Telephone and fax responses shall NOT be accepted.
