MAINTENANCE FOR AVIAN HEARTBEAT DETECTOR SYSTEMS

MAINTENANCE FOR AVIAN HEARTBEAT DETECTOR SYSTEMS, which are advanced vehicle interrogation and notification systems to detect the presence of persons hidden in vehicles.
Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Leavenworth, is conducting market research to identify potential businesses with the capacity and technical capability necessary to successfully provide MAINTENANCE for the requirement described herein. The subject requirement is to provide MAINTENANCE for AVIAN HEARTBEAT DETECTOR SYSTEMS for the 15th MP Brigade, Fort Leavenworth, KS, with the following salient characteristics:


MAINTENANCE for AVIAN HEARTBEAT DETECTOR SYSTEMS - each system has the following components:


1. One (1) Enclosed Space Detection System software ("ESDS")
◦ Copyright 1995-1997 BWXT Y-12 LLC and UT-Battelle, LLC under license from the United States Department of Energy and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. All rights
reserved.
2. One (1) ruggedized computer
◦ Touch screen panel with high-bright display for ease of use
◦ Year 2000 compliant
3. Five (5) Geophone Sensors (4 + 1 spare)


This is a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) only.
(Note: Any interested party may respond to the SSN.)
This is not a solicitation announcement. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. The Government will use responses to this Sources Sought Notice to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Any resultant contract is anticipated to be Firm Fixed Price. The Salient Characteristics of the requirement fall under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334511, "Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing." Interested firms must demonstrate in their qualification statement that they are qualified to provide the product under this NAICS code.
Firms responding to the Sources Sought Notice are asked to submit capability to provide the maintenance to the product that is addressed as the Government's requirement.
