Maintenance Facility Compressed Natural Gas Facility Modifications

The Transportation Authority is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors for facility upgrades (the "Project") at the Authority's Maintenance Facility. The Project consists of upgrading the facility so that it meets best practice safety requirements and local, state and federal code requirements for servicing CNG vehicles. The project will be constructed at RFTA's GMF, which is located at 2307 Wulfsohn Road, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601. The maintenance facility is located within the municipal limits of
the City of Glenwood Springs and will therefore be subject to City building, permitting and operational codes and regulations. The selected Contractor will be required to design, permit, construct, test, and commission all equipment and systems for the Project.
Solicitation documents will be available Monday, February 6, 2012 by request. Information associated with this project will be available online at http://www.rfta.com/rfps.html and www.rftabrt.com. A Pre-Proposal Meeting and site visit will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. (MT) at the Glenwood Springs Community Center, located at 100 Wulfsohn Road, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601.
