This is a Request for Information (RFI) only (i.e. Sources Sought). This is NOT a Request for Quote/Proposal.

As part of market research, the 18th Contracting Squadron is seeking qualified contractors that are capable of performing inspections, preventive maintenance and repair services for aircraft hangar doors and door related equipment, using the following publication for guidance: AFI 91-203, Air Force Consolidated Occupational Safety Instruction, Occupational Safety and Health Standards 1910 and 1926 (OSHA), and manufacturer's recommendations, and warranty requirements. Please see attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement for further details.

Contractors who are interested should respond electronically to SSgt Angelo Cabuang via email at angelomykael.cabuang.1@us.af.mil by 1630 JST, 04 Jun 18. Include the following information in your response:

a. Company name and address
b. Physical location of company
c. Point of contact with name, title, phone and email
d. CAGE code and DUNS number
e. Capability Statement or Past Performance record
g. Any comments, concerns, etc.


It is highly encourage that contractors who are interested request a site visit to further understand the requirement. Once requested, 18 CONS will determine a time and date that will work for everyone interested and government officials. This post will be updated with the site visit information, if applicable.

This notice, is for information and planning purposes only. This RFI should not be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for any information submitted in response. Respondents will not be notified of the results of any government assessments. No awards will be issued as a result of this RFI. The 18th Contracting Squadron does not intend to award a contract on the basis of responses nor otherwise pay for the preparation of any information submitted. As a result of this RFI, the 18th Contracting Squadron may issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quote (RFQ). THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME; however, should such a requirement materialize, no basis for claims against 18th Contracting Squadron shall arise as a result of a response to this RFI or the 18th Contracting Squadron's use of such information as either part of our evaluation process or in developing specifications for any subsequent requirement.
