Maintenance, Repair and Rebuilding of Equipment
The National Institutes of Health / National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIH/NIAID) in support of the Division of Intramural Research (DIR) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition for a preventive maintenance contract to service the Union Carbide, Forma Scientific, CBS, and Taylor-Wharton K Series LN2 Cryogenic Freezers with Kalotra Cryogenic Service, 12917 Brushwood Terrace, Potomac, MD 20854. This is a Full maintenance contract for one (1) base year and four (4) option years and all responsible sources who are certified may submit a proposal showing their capabilities and past performances repairing/servicing this type of equipment. The vendors shall provide certification from original equipment manufacturer that they are authorized to perform these services and have access to OEM parts and supplies. All responsible sources may submit a response that will be considered. The Government reserves the right to make a decision whether this requirement is available for competition. The Period of Performance will be one year with 4 option years. All responses shall be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m. (EDST) May 29, 2014.
