Mainframe Printer Solution
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to acquire two cut-sheet laser printers to support print applications.
The printers will be purchased or leased in a staggered fashion. Printers and pricing need to be the same for both. The first printer shall be installed in April before May 1, 2010. The second printer shall be installed in November before November 30, 2010.
This RFP specifies a cut-sheet laser printers solution that will be capable of processing approximately 750,000 print impressions per month with spikes that could reach 1.5 million per printer. These printers shall be designed to allow processing time in excess of ninety eighty percent (98%) up time per month. Any scheduled preventive maintenance activities will not count against the 98% uptime requirement.
