The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to acquire laser printers to support the Kansas Departments print applications.

This RFP specifies a laser printers solution that will be capable of processing approximately 500,000 print impressions per month with spikes that could reach 1 million. These printers must be designed to allow processing time in excess of ninety eighty percent (98%) up time per month. Any scheduled preventive maintenance activities will not count against the 98% uptime requirement.

Department of Labor operates a print operation that provides critical services to the unemployed in the state of Kansas.

The estimated installation date for this equipment is December 29, 2009.
