Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist(s)
The purpose of this amendment is to increase the quantity of MRI Technologist(s) required from one (1) full-time employee (FTE) to two (2) FTEs and extend the closing date of this solicitation to 8:00 am on Monday, July 9, 2018.
The VA Boston Healthcare System requires 2.0 FTE Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technologists with current licensure by one of the states as Certified Radiologic Technologists (R.T.), as well as current national licensure by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) with advanced certification in MR.
Duties shall be performed on an eight-hour shift at the West Roxbury or Jamaica Plain Campus with varying tours of duty including: 6:30AM 3:00PM, or 8AM 4:30PM or 11AM 7:30PM.
The technologist(s) will also provide on-call support on a rotational basis from 7:30pm-7:00AM, 9:30pm-7:00am during the week and MID-MID(24hrs) as needed on the weekends and Federal Holidays.
The technologist(s) would be working on a Siemens 1.5T, GE 3T and a Siemens 3Tunit.
