The United States Agency for International Development in Egypt (USAID/Egypt) is in the process of designing a new five-year, $23-24.9 million activity to support the Government of Egypt in upgrading Public Financial Management and improving public investment planning, management, implementation, and monitoring.
This is a Request for Information (RFI) which intends to provide public information to parties interested in USAID’s support in Egypt, as well as to collect any information and suggestions about USAID’s planned programming in this sector.  Information collected is intended to help in the Mission’s activity design and development for an intended future solicitation.

Requested Action:  At this time, USAID is seeking any feedback on the Statement of Objectives for the USAID/Egypt Macro-economic Stabilization & Reform Activity.  Please note USAID is not seeking technical or cost proposals at this time, and in accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.  Responses to this RFI are voluntary and USAID will not pay respondents for any information provided in response to this RFI.  If a future solicitation is issued, it will be announced on the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov at a later date.
While we welcome any comments you may have, we ask that if you chose to respond, that you answer the following questions to assist USAID:
1- Are you interested in applying to the RFP when released?
2- Are you a small business? If so, please specify your status and certification.
3- Does the SOO contain enough information to submit a proposal? If not, what is needed? Do you have any other suggestions for the results?
