The purpose of this Sources Sought is to seek qualified vendors capable of providing muzzle brake casting simulation for the M776 cannon which is used on the M777, 155mm towed howitzer, utilizing MAGMA software. RIA-JMTC uses MAGMA casting simulation software to facilitate casting mold designs; however, does not have several modules (e.g. steel and stress) that are needed for simulating, identifying and diagnosing hot tears, inclusions and stress in the casting. RIA-JMTC plans to develop one or two mold designs that simulation results predict will be free of porosity and provide those mold designs to a facility that has MAGMA software for predicting other injurious defects (e.g. hot tears, cold cracks, inclusions, etc. Complete details will be
contained in the Scope of Work.

Interested vendors shall submit the following:

1. CAGE Code and business size
2. Years experience working with MAGMA Software
3. Rough estimate of completion of simulation
