Mussel Dogs Inspection Services
(i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
(ii) Solicitation number 140R2019Q0043 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ).
(iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-01.
(iv) This acquisition is a total Small Business set aside. The NAICS code is 561612 and the size standard is $20.5 million.
(v) The contract line items are listed in the price schedule of the solicitation package (see page 3 of the RFQ package). When providing a quote, please complete the price schedule for each line item.
(vi) The contractor shall detection dog handling services for Glory Hole Recreation Area and Tuttletown Recreation Area in accordance with the Performance Work Statement that is included in the solicitation package.
(vii) The period of performance is listed in the Price Schedule and the Statement of Work.
(viii) The provision 52.212-1, Instructions to OfferorsB?Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Quote instructions are provided as an addendum to 52.212-1 (see page 25).
(ix) The provision 52.212-2, EvaluationB?Commercial Items, does apply to this acquisition. The evaluation facts are provided as an addendum to 52.212-2 (see page 26).
