MMIS Requests for Information

The Department has published two Requests for Information (RFIs) concerning its Replacement Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) and related services. We would appreciate your consideration of these RFIs and encourage you to respond. The requested due date for each RFI response is December 19, 2012 via e-mail to [email protected].
Replacement MMIS RFI #5A - this RFI seeks information and sources for a technology framework on which the State can implement a system to manage key aspects of its Medicaid program including ingest and assessment of quality of encounter data; analysis of health outcomes; the combination of fee-for-service and encounter data; statutory and programmatic reporting needs; and program integrity.
Replacement MMIS RFI #5B - this RFI seeks information and sources for performing administrative services for its Medicaid fee-for-service population. These services may include activities such as provider screening, enrollment, and recertification; provider servicing and education; provider call center; grievance and appeals processes for providers; claims adjudication and payment; prior approval of certain services; program integrity and fraud prevention; and pharmacy benefit management.
