DESCRIPTION:
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment, necessary for the design and construction described here as the project called Construct 500 Space Expandable Parking Garage at the Miami VA Medical Center in accordance with the solicitation, Statement of Work (SOW), and specifications.

Work Location: Miami VA Medical Center, 1201 N.W. 16th Street, Miami, Florida 33125
Estimated Target Completion Period: 515 calendars days after Notice to Proceed (NTP)
Magnitude of this project is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000.00. NAICS 236220 Commercial and Industrial Building Construction Contractors. Size Standard is $36 Million. Product Service Code Y1LZ, Construction of parking Facilities.
This is a design-build project/solicitation that will use the trade-off source selection process, providing the best value to the Government. The solicitation will be issued on or about June 19, 2018.
All information for this solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web-site at www.fbo.gov
At the time of proposal submission, contractors must have current registration/certification in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.SAM.GOV and Vet-Biz at www.vip.vetbiz.gov . Proposals of contractors not registered/certified in both databases will not be considered for award.
Green Environmental Management System (GEMS) - Contractors selected for award of this contract are expected to be good stewards of the environment by complying with federal, state and local environmental laws and other requirements such as medical center policy and project specifications. In addition contractors should incorporate pollution prevention and waste minimization into operations.
