MICROFABRICATION SYSTEM PHONTOIC PHOTONIC PROFESSIONAL GT2 3D

The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this SS, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct Market Research to determine an acquisition strategy for the acquisition of a 3D Microfabrication System.
VAMC Cleveland is requesting the Photonic Professional GT2 a fully operational system combining position 1 with any of the microfabrication solution sets. The GT2 provide a wide range of application which include printing three-dimensional photonic waveguides, couplers, diffractive optical elements, microlens arrays, photonic crystals, metamaterials, and prisms. As well, the GT2 will enable the facility to design next generation tools for implanted therapeutic devices that need to deliver light to the tissue (e.g., nerve, ganglia). Nerve iterfaces for neuromodulation or other applications can be printed to fit both large and small nerves. 3D microfluidic elements can be printed on prestructured substrated. This can be used with micro-optical components or other elements to build highly parallelized sensors for the next-generation lab-on-chip applications. Other applications include tareted drug delivery, cell scaffolds, biomimetics, micromachines, mechanical microstructures, and more.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10, is conducting market research to determine if there are a sufficient number of Small Businesses capable of performing the requirements to warrant a set-aside. The proposed solicitation will be to furnish all materials, labor, equipment and transportation required to provide 3D Microfabrication System to the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. Contractor shall also comply with any other federal, state, and local laws applicable to the industry.
Potential sources shall demonstrate experience and knowledge of requirement and capability to provide such commodities. Potential sources should submit:
