MHSA Children's Wraparound

California, United States
Government : Municipal
RFP

Five fundamental elements or concepts guide the MHSA planning process: Community collaboration, cultural competence, client/family driven system, wellness focus, and resilience. These concepts must be imbedded and continuously reflected throughout proposals submitted in response to this RFP. The MHSA Childrens Wraparound Program will become a crucial element in the overall public mental health treatment system. The proposal must demonstrate how the Childrens Wraparound Program would work collaboratively with the Nevada County Juvenile Mentally Ill Offender Crime Reduction Assertive Community Treatment Team, and the Nevada County Mental Health Childrens System of Care Program [MHP]. These three childrens mental health treatment programs will be joined by significant links requiring each to work cooperatively and in collaboration to achieve positive outcomes.

A pre-proposal conference will be held in the Gold Hill Room of the Eric Rood Administrative Center in Nevada City at 10:00 a.m. on August 13, 2007. Attendance at this conference is not required. Questions and answers discussed at the conference will be documented and delivered to all potential offerors who have registered as described above. Questions or requests for clarification of this Request for Proposals may be submitted in writing in lieu of attending the pre-proposal conference, but must be submitted no later than 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2007. Responses to written questions will be included in the published responses to questions arising at the pre-proposal conference.
