MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS
Marin County has a wide array of mental health services available, including new services funded through the Mental Health Services Act. Community Mental Health Services requests proposals to assist in the development and implementation of a media campaign to increase awareness about mental health issues and resources in Marin County, reduce stigma regarding mental illness and accessing services, and reduce discrimination against people living with mental illnesses. Marin County CMHS has a maximum of $32,000 available annually for a maximum of three years to cover the expenses incurred under a contract to be awarded as a result of this RFP. The estimated start date for the program is May 15, 2009.
