MEDICAL RECORDS CODER REGISTRY SERVICES
The County is soliciting a Request for Proposal (RFP), for multiple medical records coder registries that
are experienced and qualified to 1) assign ICD-9 codes and CPT-4 codes using 3M software or 2) audit codes
assigned by coding staff and determine if most appropriate code assignment made or 3) provide coding section
oversight during the absence of a designated coding supervisor. These independent contractors are to provide
temporary staffing twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week and three hundred
sixty-five (365) days per year.
