This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Solicitation number M00681-14-R-0003 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-69. The Services and Supply Division, Retail Clothing Branch, Marine Corps Recruit Depot/Western Recruiting Region, San Diego (MCRD/WRR San Diego) provides uniforms for Marine Corps Recruits, Drill Instructors, and Recruiters during their respective initial training periods at MCRD San Diego. During this training, they are issued a variety of uniforms for wear throughout their Marine Corps career. The uniforms they receive are tailored to meet Marine Corps standards of fit as set forth in the Marine Corps Uniform and Alterations Manual (TM 10120-15/1). This procurement requires the contractor to furnish all required labor, equipment, management, and supervision necessary for the performance of all operations incidental to the marking, fitting, and alterations of male and female military uniforms.
