Design-Bid-Build Project: MCON Project P-224 Causeway, Boat Channel, and Turning Basin: The work for this project includes dredging for a public boat channel, naval ship channel, and naval ship turning basin; excavation of above water moles, salvage and reuse of armor/riprap, paving, striping, signage, fencing, hauling and disposing of excess dredge material, placing fill for vehicle causeway and habitat enhancement; constructing rock breakwater, rock armor shore protection, security structure, and wharf improvements to support large deck amphibious ship ordnance operations. This project also includes relocating naval barge mooring buoys, installing marine navigation aids, utility infrastructure upgrades, communication infrastructure and security improvements. MCON Project P-226 Ammunition Pier: The work for this project includes dredging and placing fill for truck turn-around; constructing rock armor shore protection, pile supported ammunition pier, mooring dolphins, and several operations buildings to support dual ship naval ordnance operations. This project also includes utility infrastructure upgrades, communications systems installation, and security improvements, and demolishing buildings and wharf primary fendering system. Intended procurement method is Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Estimated cost is between $100,000,000 and $250,000,000
