MAX Security Portal and Bading System Upgrades and /or Modifications and Onsite Support
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal intends to issue an award to Hunt Engineering Services, Inc on a sole source basis.
This action is for writing code and on-site support for upgrades to the MAX Badging and Visitor Management System. The upgrades include modifying the Watchlist Server which interfaces MAX and the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database: modifying the MAX reporting tools and adding Adhoc reporting capabilities to generate reports utilized by Garrison to secure funding; and 2-weeks of onsite support (dates determined by DES) for installation of the MAX handheld scanners. The MAX Badging and Visitor Management includes MAX Security Portal, Max Apache, Handheld MAX Software, Blacklist Aggregator, Data Bridge, and NCIC Bridge.
No solicitation package will package will be issued. This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will consider responses received no later than 10:00 PM CT on June 27, 2014.
Responses shall be submitted to Evonne Jordan, email address [email protected] and shall at a minimum include the following:
1. The name of your company
2. Company DUNS and CAGE Code
3. POC name and contact information
4. The specific service(s) that your company offers that fulfills the same function as the services to be included on this order or evidence that your company is capable of providing the repair services
5. A description of the service(s) and your company's overall capabilities.
It is your responsibility to demonstrate how your service(s) are capable of providing the same services that exist with ARMAG Corporation mentioned above.
A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government's Contracting Officer. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
