The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking interested sources that are capable of providing Global Express/XRS differences training to Global 5000/6000 with Global Vision Flight Deck (GVFD) Pilot Training for one Aircraft Certification Service, AIR-900, test Pilot Employed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense.

At this time, the nature of the competition has not been determined. The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program.

The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, 8(a) certified firms, and all other business types and sizes, capable of providing commercial training services for Global Express/XRS differences training to Global 5000/6000 with Global Vision Flight Deck (GVFD) Pilot Training. In order to assist with acquisition strategy development and to gain a better understanding of the commercial marketplace, the FAA requests the following information from interested vendors:
DUNbs number and/or SAM Registration information.

The contractor is to provide one differences/upgrade course for a FAA pilot holding a BD-700 type rating in the Global Express/XRS (non-GVFD) and requires to upgrade to the Global Vision 5000/6000 with GVFD. The course covered under this contract will meet the requirements for FAA formal flight training. FAA formal flight training consists of training courses with agency level course numbers that will be officially recorded in the employeebs personnel records.

Under Title 49 of the United States Code (49 U.S.C.), the FAA is authorized to acquire and expend funds for the acquisition, operation, and maintenance of aircraft as necessary in the exercise and performance of the powers and duties of the Administrator. The interests of the public, the safety of the workforce, and the credibility of the organization are best served by having qualified, proficient, and current inspectors conducting pilot evaluating, testing, and checking functions.
