MAINTENANCE FOR HOLOGIC EQUIPMENT
The Naval Medical Logistics Command (NMLC) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR Part 13.501(a)). The proposed source is Hologic, Inc. of 35 Crosby Drive, Bedford, MA 01730. Various Navy Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) have a requirement for Equipment that requires maintenance support. Support shall include telephone support, on-site field support, preventive maintenance, and system updates including updates to hardware and software. Equipment support shall be provided in accordance with the performance statement of work. The maintenance shall be provided by original equipment manufacturer (OEM)-certified technicians and shall use only OEM-approved replacement parts. At least one preventive maintenance inspection shall be done during the contract year on all equipment; two preventive maintenance inspections shall be done during the contract year on all mammography systems. The maintenance contract shall cover all applicable glassware, tubes, and detectors for the imaging equipment.
Vendor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized maintenance contractor for the proposed equipment/system such that OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions.
