The State of Maine Department of Administrative & Financial Services (DAFS) is requesting proposals from Bidders with demonstrated experience in providing system integration services for a statewide Public Safety and Public Service radio network including the design, engineering, furnishing, installation, commissioning and migration to service of the Maine State Communications Network (MSCommNet). MSCommNet components include: VHF radio network and user equipment, backhaul interconnect and site structures. At the conclusion of this project, the State expects to own and operate a modernized, fully functioning, highly reliable, digital voice Public Safety and Public Service VHF radio network including supporting interconnect and site infrastructure.
