M7341/M783 Fuze
The U.S. Army Contracting Command-New Jersey (ACC-NJ) Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of the Office of the Project Manager for Combat Ammunition Systems (OPM-CAS) intends to issue a Sole Source modification for the production of an additional quantity of 193,080 of the M734A1 and M783 Fuze. This modification shall be issued under current contract W15QKN-10-C-0015 with L-3 Fuzing and Ordnance Systems, Inc. This modification is intended to be issued using 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1); as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B)-Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The intended modification will be Firm Fixed Price. The initial delivery is required by December 2016 at a monthly rate of 18,000 each. Funds are available for this acquisition.
