Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued.
This solicitation is a request for proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-99-1 / 07-16-2018.
The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561730 -- Landscaping Services with a small business size standard of $7.5 million.
For purchase request 1 the Contractor shall furnish all equipment, parts, materials, labor, and supervision necessary to remove Elm tree and grind associated stump, located at the Danville National Cemetery, 721 Lee Street, Danville, Va. 24541. Performance includes filling of stump cavity with clean topsoil, properly grading soil into the surrounding area and seeding with turf type tall fescue grass seed upon completion.
For purchase request 2 the Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, transportation, equipment, supplies, materials, professional guidance & advice for and incident to the provision of Tree Removal and Stump Grinding Services at the Baltimore and Annapolis National Cemeteries. The primary emphasis for the completion of this work is to preserve and improve the health and condition of the cemetery tree population.
This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and all solicitation provisions & clauses are incorporated in this announcement. Site Visit will be based on availability of Bath Nat l Cemetery. Site visit is not mandatory, but recommended. Responses to this Request for Quotes (RFQ) are due to the Contracting Officer no later than 12:00 PM EST on 8/24/2018. Responses to this announcement will result in a Firm-Fixed Price purchase order with FOB Destination and the Government intends to make award under this announcement without discussions.
All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information provided nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided for the Government. Offerors are responsible for obtaining any and all amendments or additional information concerning this announcement at https://fbo.gov.
This synopsis is a Service Disabled, Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside.
