The Government objective is to purchase commercial items in support of the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine, 711th Human Performance Wing, (USAFSAM/PHE).  The purpose of this notice is to (1) solicit the names of interested vendor(s) and their business size and (2) identify authorized sellers/resellers/distributors of the required kits. The Government will use this market research in determining its solicitation strategy.


To obtain market information, the Government requests that all interested parties RESPOND TO THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS ON OR BEFORE June 29, 2017.


RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE: Vendors who can fulfill this requirement and who would be interested in submitting a proposal, in the event that a solicitation is issued, are requested to provide the following information in response to this request:

REQUIRING ACTIVITY: This is a requirement of the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine, 711th Human Performance Wing (USAFSAM/PHE), Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio. The 711th HPW mission is to advance aerospace medicine to enhance the health and performance of those they serve through education, research, and consultation. The vendor selected to fulfill this requirement will support this mission objective.

(2) Specification/Description of Requirement (summary): This requirement is for the acquisition of Luminex reagents in support of the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine, Epidemiology Laboratory Service Division (USAFSAM/PHE). PHE's mission is to provide timely clinical diagnostic testing and patient care for DoD beneficiaries' worldwide (over 225 clients). Specifically, these reagents will be used for approximately 235,000 infectious disease samples to be analyzed by PHE on an annual basis. Additional contractor requirements will be met as specifically outlined in delivery orders placed against this IDIQ contract.
