Lower Trail Gap Feasibility Study
The Board of Directors of Rails to Trails of Central Pa., Inc., (RTTCPA) Blair County, Pennsylvania, is accepting proposals for a one-time contract to perform certain professional services (consulting work) for RTTCPA involving a study of the feasibility of extending the Lower Trail from its current western terminus at Flowing Spring, Frankstown Township, Blair County, Pa. connecting to Hollidaysburg Boroughs Canal Basin Park and proceeding to the National Park Services 6-10 Trace Trail on Dry Run Road, Juniata Township, Blair County, a distance of approximately twelve (12) miles along the abandoned Petersburg and New Portage branches of the former Pennsylvania Railroad. Attached is information relating to submitting a proposal including specific requirements, the organization of the proposal, proposal evaluation criteria, and the proposed contractual agreement.
