US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Walla Walla District, is seeking small business sources for a construction project titled: Lower Granite Swallows Park Playground Mat Upgrade. The work is located at Swallows Park, Lower Granite Lake, Snake River Mile 142, West River Bank, Asotin County, Washington. This will be a firm-fixed-price construction contract. Construction magnitude is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. 100 percent payment protection (payment bond or irrevocable letter of credit) will be required. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238990 - Park ground and recreational open space improvement construction (includes repair & rehab), and the associated small business size standard is $15,000,000.

This sources-sought announcement is being issued to identify small business concerns with the capability to accomplish the work. This is not a solicitation. Only those firms who respond to this announcement by submitting the following information (items one though five) will be used in determining whether to set aside this requirement.

1)    A statement or list of current and/or past technical experience similar to or the same as the summary scope of work. Include a brief description of each project scope; your firm's role in the project; project schedule, including completion date (or projected completion date); and dollar value.

2)    A reference list for each of the projects submitted in #1 above. Include the name, title, phone number and email address.

3)    A statement of your firm's bonding capacity.

4)    A statement of your firm's business size and type (HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8(a), women-owned).

5)    Cage Code and DUNS number.

Summary of Scope of Work:

Work consists of removal and disposal of existing mat, excavation and subgrade preparation, furnishing and placement of aggregate subbase, and installation of Government furnished membrane sheeting and SofTile KrosLOCK Plus tile system.
