Low-Cost, High-Impact Measures to Meet the Transporation Needs of Michigan's Aging Population
Michigan's older residents have unique needs when using the transportation system. As the population of elderly citizens
continues to grow in Michigan, it becomes even more critical that MDOT understand these needs and incorporates them into
transportation facility design and planning. The study will help MDOT identify where to concentrate resources to maximize the
mobility and safety of the aging population
