Low Carbon Diet Partnership Notice
The Municipality is seeking partnerships to advance a new environmental outreach program. The program, titled the "Low Carbon Diet", targets specific areas of a household's carbon footprint such as home energy use, transportation, waste and recycling, and dietary choices with the goal of reducing overall community carbon emissions.
The Municipality will partner with a variety of entities, both non-profit and for-profit, to achieve shared objectives and enhance the quality and scope of the program. Examples of partnership include donated meeting space and resources, shared marketing exposure, participation in speaker series, financial sponsorship of the "Low Carbon Diet", and other activities that contribute to program goals. There are limited financial resources available and the Municipality is seeking partners who share the program's vision and will derive benefit without direct financial payment from the Municipality.
