The goal of the Towns website is to provide easy electronic access to public services, serve as a public communications tool, reduce transaction costs for the Town and residents, and to streamline business operation. The current site structure and design was developed five years ago and requires significant redesign to take advantage of new
design elements and growing demand for electronic services. Specifically, the Town would like the redesigned site to provide a very easy-to-use, robust, and secure content management functionality and ultimately support e-government transactions such as online forms, reporting, and applications and a variety of other activities. The redesigned
site should have a unifying graphic theme that creates a branding for the Town of Los Gatos as well as promotes the Town with a friendly and professional feel.
