Long Term Care Insurance
For many years the University participated in a group consortium for its health benefits; a group long term care insurance program was offered at that time. The consortium disbanded in December 2004; after that the University did not continue the offering of group long term care insurance. The University attempted to bid out long term care insurance along with medical, dental and vision insurances in August 2010; however, no proposals were received. Therefore, the University is issuing this Request for Proposal to again attempt to solicit long term care insurance proposals. The new plans would be effective January 1, 2011.
