Lodging Ft Indiantown Gap PA - August 2017
The USPFO for Maine is issuing the attached solicitation for commercial lodging as a Request for Quote (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 13 procedures; this will be the only notice of this solicitation in accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(13).
The government requires lodging for 125 military personnel from 7 AUG 2017 to 12 AUG 2017 (check out date is 12 AUG 2017). Breakfast meals are required for each day in accordance with the attached statement of work. Preference will be given to hotels within 15 miles of Fort Indiantown Gap (Annville, PA 17003) when evaluating quotes.
The solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Business. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this RFQ is 721110, with a size standard of $32.5 million. All responsible sources may submit a quotation in accordance with solicitation number W912JD-17-Q-0003. Contractors must download the solicitation from the website. Contractors are cautioned to check the web-site periodically for amendments.
Quotes will be evaluated on a best value basis. Technical and past performance, when combined, are slightly less important than price. The government will consider, but not be limited to considering, the following details in determining best value: distance from training site to hotel(s), inclusion of breakfast meals, and ability to house military members in the minimum number of hotels (preferably one). The Government reserves the right to award one or more offerors.
