This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION for construction prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Proposal (RFP) 12837119Q0019. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFP are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-59 and are available in full text through Internet access at http://www.acquisition.gov/far. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237310 and the small business size standard is $36.5 million. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. All responsible small business concerns may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Forest Service. The Government requires performance of the work described in these documents for the Lockwood Pit Crush and Stockpile located on the Coconino National Forest. From Camp Verde, head east on AZ-260 for approximately 31.1 miles to the intersection of AZ-260 and AZ-87. Then, Turn left onto AZ-87 and continue east for approximately 2.6 miles to the junction of AZ-87 and FS-300. Turn right onto FS 300 and continue east for approximately 20.1 miles to the junction of FS-300 and FS-137. Turn Left onto FS-137 and continue north for approximately 9.9 and turn left at the junction of FS-137 and FS-96. Continue west on FS-96 for approximately 1.9 miles and the site will be on your left.
