The LCPA shall receive 911 fees collected by service providers and received, both by electronic and check based payment methods; deposit such fees into the appropriate accounts; maintain a database to provide for the authorized distribution of 911 fees to PSAPs as set out in the Act; disburse 911 fees to PSAPs as required by law and direction of the Council; establish the 911 state fund and the 911 state grant fund which shall not be a part of the state treasury; distribute 911 state grant fund moneys as directed by the Council; maintain accurate accounts of all receipts and disbursements of moneys from 911 fees, and perform other duties as described in the Act.
