This is a Sources Sought only. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is performing market research to assess the commercial marketplace for Local Area Network (LAN) support service contractors for the VA Pacific Islands Healthcare System (VAPIHCS). Services include optical fiber and copper cable installation, removal, troubleshooting, and repair with minimal need to for telephone line connection to Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) operator (only for fax machines). Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. The general service area covers the State of Hawaii (all islands). However, services may also be required in Guam and American Samoa.

There is no solicitation document as this time. The NAICS is 541519, Other Computer Related Services, with Small Business size of $27.5 million. The Department of Veterans Affairs is contemplating a multiple award basic purchase agreement.
A DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached. Please read through the DRAFT PWS before responding to this notice. Please respond answering the following:
Company Name
Company Duns & Bradstreet Number
Socio-economic Status (e.g. large business, small business, service-disabled veteran owned small business, etc.)
Point of Contact with Name, Email Address, and Telephone Number
Provide at least three examples demonstrating your experience with this type of service. The examples must be recent (within the last 5 years) and relevant (similar in scope). Include the contract number, dollar value of the award, and a description of the services provided under the contract/agreement.
If you will not be the prime contractor or have no past performance, please identify how you intend to complete the service (i.e. subcontract, teaming arrangement, JV). Please provide information about your subcontractor/teaming arrangement/JV and answer the questions in #5.
If you do not currently have business operations in the State of Hawaii, please describe how you intend to fulfill the service requirements to include licensing/certifications of employees, performing services on various islands (i.e., Maui, Kauai, Lanai, Molokai), and responding to any emergency repair calls.
If you do not respond as instructed and the Government cannot ascertain your capability, your response will not be considered for socio-economic set-aside purposes.
This requirement is for smaller sized cabling jobs. This will not require any FTE. The government anticipates at most 1-2 service calls per month with most calls being $10,000-$25,000 and often times less.
